Canadian Spy Coins

U.S. Defense Department is warning about the Canadian coins, with tiny transmitters. These bugged coins have been found in the pocket of at least three American contractors, with classified security clearances, who visited Canada. They believe it could be used to track the movements of the defense industry personnel dealing in sensitive military technology.

Top suspects, according to outside experts: China, Russia or even France — all said to actively run espionage operations inside Canada with enough sophistication to produce such technology.

The Canadian Security Intelligence Service said it knew nothing about the coins.
