SpamAssassin
A free, open-source mail filter, written in Perl, to identify spam using a wide range of heuristic tests on mail headers and body text. This is a very powerful server side anti-spam filter which can be used on a wide variety of email systems including procmail, sendmail, Postfix, qmail, and many others. I’ve been using SpamAssassin in many Qmail servers and the results are amazing. It’s easy to install and requires very little configuration. Policies can be applied on both mail servers and later using the user’s own mail user-agent application.
